The Murder of Lisa-Marie Spence

On 3 July 2003, the body of 20-year-old Lisa Marie Spence was discovered in Stratford, east London.

She had been beaten with a claw hammer, stabbed and her body stuffed into a cardboard box. After it was dumped in a car park, petrol was poured over the corpse and it was set alight.

The court heard that Deepak Bouri, a registered sex offender who had just finished a four-year jail term for indecently assaulting a 14-year-old, and Adam Bowler, a depraved white weirdo who was fascinated by the Yorkshire Ripper, hatched a plan to sexually abuse and murder a woman. Any woman would do and Lisa was the unfortunate they managed to lure back to Bouri's flat.

They were both found guilty of Lisa's Murder and sentenced to life imprisonment.

Sanjeev Bouri was found not guilty of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
